Lead me in your Love
I just came off of a girlfriends weekend that was simply glorious. My precious fiance went to the mountains with a buddy of his which was much needed. There is something about getting fed with your sweet girlfriends. God was so sweet to us and nourished us all weekend with his word, affirmation and favor. Today Jesus is talking to me about how he has been and will always lead us in His love. His plans are far better than anything we could ever come up with. It’s in co-laboring and walking close to Him that we discover His good, perfect and pleasing will. He is currently leading me and my two friends in His love to lead women’s retreats. It has been something in the works for years and the appointed time has finally come.
Romans 12:1-2 says, Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Today Jesus and I are doing something my friend and I have coined “hammock time” at her house. I have some flaky croissants and fresh French Press coffee. This date is so serene and I am specifically listening for His still, small voice in expectation. We are seeking direction for our retreat model and I am confident Abba will bring some answers this am. I am eager for His word and for continued leading in His faithful love. Now we shall pray for His leading for you, your love and the season you both are currently in.
Dear Jesus~I am expectant. I am confident that you lead me with your love. I know your Holy Spirit is beckoning me to come close. I draw near to you so that you will draw near to me. Please help me to be transformed in my mind so that I can truly test and approve what it is that you desire for me. I love that I have a sweet fiance that feels the freedom to go. May he always have that liberty and release to go in our relationship. It is so healthy for us. I pray for my fiance today, that he will be blessed abundantly. I pray that he will be strengthened in his inner man. I pray that I will be strong and devoted to you for all my days. I love you Jesus and I thank you for your Sovereign love. Amen!
