Date Number #44

Celebrate with Kate

Ladies, it’s my birthday today and I’m coming off the high of amazing fellowship, food and friends.  My sweet love had a party for me last night and it’s one of the best birthdays I can remember.  This morning Jesus and I are resting together and I am so grateful.  He has filled me with great, abundant joy.

Psalm 4: 6-8 says, Many, Lord, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?”Let the light of your face shine on us.7 Fill my heart with joy when their grain and new wine abound.8 In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.  I love this word for us this day.  Have you stopped to think about the joy the Father has set before you?  He desires to fill your heart and mind anew too.  We have the opportunity to dwell in safety all of our days with a loving Father.  Do you believe this in the deepest fiber of your being?

Sisters, I would like us to be an example to our fiances from this standpoint of security and safety in the Lord.  I believe they can really benefit by seeing our consistency and solidarity in the Lord.  We as women set the tone in our homes and often set the tone of the relationship.  If we have great faith in our father and stand firm they are much more likely to emanate that faith.  In my relationship, I pray often that Cary would be filled with strength in his inner man and have a grounded and authentic faith in Jesus.  Not that he doesn’t already, but it can always be refined.  Let us pray for a greater level of joy in our hearts and for our loves to have that secure and firm faith.

Dear Jesus~This morning I rest in you.  I am renewed in you.  I come to you with a joyful and thankful heart.  I see your face for wisdom and discernment.  Thank you for designing this day for me as a celebration of life and love.  I am so thrilled with how you have provided for me.  You are soooooo good!  May my fiance be blessed and filled today in his innermost being.  May he be strong, faithful and full of faith that is secure in you.  I love you Lord and it’s in your name I pray.  Amen!
