Anchors of hope…….

I am nautical girl!  All the way!  I grew up on a marina with my Dad showing me the ropes of boating, marina management and life on the water.  I am so incredibly grateful for this time!  He is such an amazing business owner and boater and I want to be like him when I grow up!  I chose this picture for the post because at this age we were cruising during the summers to magnificent places like Charlevoix and Harbor Springs and those memories are absolutely irreplaceable.

Today Jesus and I are dining at home in my art studio nook.  I love to write early in the morning before everyone is up.  This in itself is a minor miracle because anyone who know me well knows  that I am not a morning person.  I am noshing on a buttery croissant and a french press coffee.  My fiance is sitting at his desk working on house plans for a client and I keep encouraging him in Hebrews 6:19, “ We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain”.  We have so much hope in Him and the real important thing is that we cling and stay ANCHORED to Him so we never sink.  He is the perfect beacon and navigator of our course.

Sisters, are you anchored in hope?  Do you believe we have a hope that is tangible and available to you? I would like us to pray for hope in ALL circumstances.  I would like us to pray that the loves of our life would be anchored and rooted in the love of Christ.

Dear Jesus.  You are hope!  You are love!  Thank you that in all seasons you provide hope in the midst.  All that we need is in you.  Please keep my love and I anchored to you.  We cling to you now.  Thank you that you call us to have a hope that will get us through any predicament and circumstance.  Please be with us day and fill us with your Holy Spirit to fullness.  I love you Lord and praise your holy name.  Amen!
