Crowned with Abundance
My fiance and I met with our premarital mentor couple for the first time last night and it was so God appointed. I love it when He orchestrates details so specifically. He loves us sooooo much ladies! One of the first things I noticed while we were sitting with them in their living room was a chalkboard with this scripture on it! Psalm 65:11 says, “You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.” Boy, did it take me back to a different very difficult season in my life. I won’t go into the specifics of that, but the point is this. God’s abundance is ALL around us. It’s in the beauty of His majesty, it’s in the roar of the waves on the seashore, it’s in our relationships with friends and loved ones.
Sisters, can you sense the abundance flowing in your life? Are you aware that He is there with overflowing goodness and favor EVEN when your circumstances seem bleak? His bounty and extravagance is His delight. He loves to crown His children with these beautiful things out of His reservoirs of infinite love.
Today my date with Jesus is at a little cafe near my house. I’m trying to cut down on carbs, but I just had to get the breakfast sandwich. It is divine! Jesus is really talking to me today about His bounty and abundance. He had me go back to a very painful time years ago where he brought this scripture to real life for me. HE was there through the brokenness of losing someone I loved dearly. In the midst of that He crowned me with His bounty and goodness in ways I couldn’t fathom. I would like us to spend some time in prayer regarding this topic and meditate on this scripture.
Dear Jesus~You drip abundance and bounty all over this earth and in my life. I see your goodness in the land of the living! I just want to say thank you and have a swelling, grateful heart. Would you open my love ones eyes and heart and show him your favor and all the breakthrough you want to do in his life. It is amazing and I acknowledge it in ALL ways. Please make our paths straight and narrow for your glory and our good. I surrender my will to you today. I submit to your plans for my day. I am about YOUR agenda. Please put me fully in tune with your Holy Spirit. I love you Jesus! Amen.
