Dressed up for Jesus……
It’s quite early in the morning and there is a light mist coming down o we the land. I actually watched the sun come up, balmy and yellow over the water and then the sky was transformed to grey. Jesus and I are up talking about transformation! We are working out our salvation in fear and trembling sweet sisters. The word for today comes from 2 Peter 1:2-7! He is calling us to steadfastness, self control and moral excellence all around!
This morning I entitled this, “Dressed up for Jesus” because I love to get all dolled up and imagine Him on my arm as I go into church. I am amazingly headed to 9 am service and will then have the whole day ahead for Sabbath rest. Sisters, are you pursuing moral excellence in all ways? Does your life reflect the pattern of Jesus Christ? How can I spur you on towards more of Him in order that you may decrease and He increase? Amen?
I would like us to spend some time in prayer now for more of these fruits! He is faithful to His promises to provide for us when we ask! I believe we are about to reap a harvest! Transformation can hurt sisters, but it is soooo worth it! Now let us pray!
Dear Jesus~You are sooooo good! You are faithful and your goodness is like a placid stream. I love that we dance and spin all around the universe and that you romance me with sweet wine poured into a cup of communion. I love your transformative ways and I surrender all! Please bless our future husbands with this steadfastness and moral excellence. Give them the gift of the fruits of the Holy Spirit all of his days. We love you Jesus and it’s in your name we pray. Amen!
