Women of Virtue…..

Sisters, the word for today is from Proverbs 31:30-31: “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.” I had such a difficult time choosing which verse to share because it is all so very poetic and beautiful.

I have been sitting with Abba at a breakfast cafe eating pasta!  They have the best breakfast ravioli.  So creative!  We are basking in Proverbs 31 and finding refreshment in laughing at the days to come.  Life is good sisters and His love is truly better than life.  We can cling to this word and know He will equip us with everything that we need to be this woman even if we cannot achieve every quality, For instance, I am not a wife or mother yet so verse 28 doesn’t apply. “Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her.”

Sisters, I want us to spend some time meditating on Proverbs 31 and also praying that we would meet our perfect match ordained by Christ. What qualities do you desire to possess that may seem unattainable? Do you believe Abba will full you up and equip you with His spirit to be a Proverbs 31 wife? We can become this wife of noble character! Now let us pray.

Dear Jesus~Thank you that you have made us virtuous women. Thank you that we are marked with your love. Thank you that we are chosen. This scripture moves me and challenges me and I desire to be more like her. I so crave a husband that has full confidence in me. I desire to be a blessing to him all of his days. In you we truly lack no good thing! Father please providentially connect these precious women to their Proverbs 31 husbands. Search the earth to and fro for men of integrity and honor. Abba please provide in your timing! I have a healthy fear of you Jesus and I see you on the throne. You are sovereign! I’m depending on you fully and trusting your perfect will to be done. In Jesus name. Amen!
