Wishing, Hoping, Thinking and Praying……
I was thinking this am about Julia Roberts in My Best friends Wedding and how she can barely admit she’s in love with her best bud in the world! I absolutely adore that movie! The soundtrack is really good too. Today Jesus and I are out again early in the morning on the way to walk the bridge with my prayer partner. I delight in praying with her as we walk the bridge and back. Jesus is talking to me about awaiting him and awaiting his best! He has a husband for me that was perfectly crafted and designed. He has that for you too darling! We are in James today and the word says, But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing (James 1:4). We need to accept God’s perfect timing and that he makes no mistakes.
Sister, have you been wishing and hoping and thinking and praying like me? I am so excited for that moment that God brings us together. I anticipate it like no other. It gives me a joy unspeakable! I just finished a 40 days of prayer for him with a few girlfriends and my little sister and we know that in that time that God moved. Strongholds were broken and barriers broken down. Do you believe that God will do whatever it takes to bring you and your love together? Do you know that any barricade or resistance that is set up by the enemy will be taken down?
Today we are going to spend some more intentional time praying for our guys. They need God’s healing and redemption in a variety of ways just like we do! I would like us to focus intently on praying God’s will. I’d like you to take a few deep breathes and get into a meditative state to pray with me. Breathe in and breathe out slowly. Now do it again. Now we shall pray!
Dear Jesus~Thank you for my future husband. I await him and I await you. I desire an intimacy with you and with him that is beyond my wildest dreams. I am confident that you can deliver this for me in due time. Please heal him this day of any leftover wounds or pain he has in his heart. I desire for him to be ready for me. In your faithfulness Lord would you bring us together soon for your glory? I love him already and have a joy in my heart that spills over! You are a good father and an amazing deliverer. Please help my husband to have the courage to pursue me and pursue me well. I love you Lord and it’s in Jesus name I pray. Amen!
